AeroTech EASA Part
145 Application

- GJD's AeroTech have completed the review
and update of their Maintenance Organisation Exposition
(MOE) while currently building new offices and a dedicated
parts processing facility at Bruntingthorpe
Airfield.
- The EASA Part -145 application has been
approved by the QM and has now been submitted to the CAA
for consultation and
approval.
- In
addition AeroTech have appointed both a new Quality
Manager, Mr David Wyatt and a new Maintenance Manager Mr.
Colum Carr who is also a qualified FAA
DAR.
- Both men are warmly welcomed and will help
achieve the mission of becoming one of the worlds best
maintenance provider's
while
Peter Sharpe has taken on the role of Customer Engineering
Manager as well as continuing his role as the FAA
IA.
AeroTech
to seek MIL-145 Approval
On the
back BAe's contract award to GJD Services for the
decommission of the MOD's RAF VC10 fleet, AeroTech will
seek MIL-145 approval to allow appropriately trained
certification engineers, the privilege of issuing
'servicable tags' on parts that have been subject to
stringent laid down testing and inspection
processes.
It is hoped that with the new qualification,
AeroTech will gain further Government maintenance or disposal
contracts.
