    ISO 9001:2000 & 14001:2004

    GJD Services has now achieved ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance Standard and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Assurance System.

    We have also been accepted as a Member of Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA), for further information click on their logo. 

    GJD Services has formed a new Company,GJD AeroTech Ltd, to exclusively deal with the ‘air worthiness’ side of the business. The new Company is in the process of gaining an EASA part-145 maintenance approval, and be able to issue EASA Form 1’s for removed parts subject to conditions, we are currently finalising the Company Maintance Organisation Exposition. www.gjdaerotech.com 

    The new company will also perform line maintenance on a variety of different aircraft types, as well as provide an AOG team to travel world wide at a moments notice.

New Facility:

GJD Services are still working on finalising the facility and agreements at Kent International Airport to allow the dismantling and breaking of aircraft up to the size of Boeing 747-400. and are working closely with Thanet Council and the Environmental Agency to have the UK’s first fully licensed facility for carrying out such work on a limited basis.

A320:- Re Activation

We are currently carrying out a Return to Service Re Activation check on an A320 which has been parked for 2 years. We will take the aircraft to a Maintenance facility, and over see the planned C check.

Recent work:

GJD have recently carried out a number of engine changes, including a Boeing 767 return to service, and a Boeing 747.
